Ormond Station Community Development District
The Ormond Station Community Development District (CDD) is a local, special purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, established May 19, 2023 and created by Ordinance No. 2023-05 of the Board of County Commissioners of Flagler County, Florida as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Ormond Station CDD is located entirely within the boundaries of the Flagler County, Florida, comprising a parcel or parcels of land containing approximately 67.729 acres, located north of, and adjacent to, Airport Road and west of the Flagler County/Volusia County boundary.
The powers and functions of the District are described in Section 190.012(1) Florida Statutes.

The Ormond Station Community Development District (CDD) is a local, special purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, established May 19, 2023 and created by Ordinance No. 2023-05 of the Board of County Commissioners of Flagler County, Florida as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
Consent is hereby given to the District’s Board of Supervisors to exercise special powers set forth in Section 190.012(2)(a) and 190.012(2)(d), Florida Statutes to additional powers to plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain additional systems and facilities for parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and education uses, as well as facilities for security, including by not limited to guardhouses, fences and gates, electronic intrusion detection systems, and patrol cars, when authorized by proper governmental agencies; except that the District may not exercise an police power, but may contract with the appropriate local general purposes governmental agencies for an increased level of such services within the District boundaries.
The boundaries of the District were enlarged and increased on February 20, 2024, authorized by Ordinance No. 2024-01 of the Board of County Commissioners of Flagler County, Florida.
